Responsible Gaming
At UniBet UK, we care about our players. We make sure that the time spent with us is always enjoyable. To that end, we:
- We give you access to increasingly secure tools, tools that help manage how you play
- We are developing behavior monitoring tools to help you play responsibly.
As part of our commitment to more responsible gaming, we aim to generate no revenue from activities deemed harmful.
How to maintain control?
Be proactive and stay aware of your gambling habits. We have several tools to help you gamble responsibly and make it a habit.
Player profile test
Answer 9 quick questions: the result will tell you if you are exhibiting risky behavior and will offer solutions to ensure that the game remains a game.
Reality Check
Having your favorite games readily available can sometimes be distracting. Our alerts appear to give you details about your time spent on the site, how much you’ve won, lost, and wagered during a given period. You can choose to have them appear every 30, 60, or 90 minutes.
Feel safe thanks to our behavior monitoring tool
We help you maintain your activity at a playful level by informing you of any major changes in your behavior, such as more bets than usual or more time spent online on our platform.
How do I set my limits?
We offer a range of tools to help you only spend the time and money you can afford to lose. Contact our customer service if you’d like help setting your limits.
Deposit limit
The deposit limit allows you to control the amount of money you wish to deposit over a 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day period. The Belgian government requires all players to have a weekly deposit limit as part of its responsible gambling policy.
How does it work?
If you set a deposit limit of €50 per week and then deposit €50, you will not be able to deposit any more money until the same time, 7 days later.
We recommend that all our players set one or more deposit limits and only gamble with money that can be lost.
Loss limit
Set a voluntary loss limit to determine the net amount you can deposit each day, week, or month.
Each deposit brings you closer to your limit, but any winnings you withdraw are deducted from your total deposits.
Product blocking
Do you enjoy playing at the casino occasionally, but worry about being tempted by our poker tables and playing unreasonably? Our limit allows you to block access to a product for 24 hours, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months.
How does it work?
If you choose to block access to poker for a week, you will not be able to play at our poker tables again until that limit expires.
Blocking access to a product can eliminate unnecessary temptations.
How to take a break?
If your betting is having a negative impact on your environment and the limits you have set are no longer sufficient to control your activity, do not hesitate to block all connections to your account for as long as you deem necessary.
Self-exclusion with EPIS
If you are considering taking a break from all licensed Belgian gambling providers, we suggest you self-exclude with EPIS.
This tool will block access to your active gambling accounts and will also restrict you from creating a new account with licensed Belgian gambling providers.
How does it work?
Click on the link below. This link will redirect you to the website of the Belgian Gaming Commission (BGC). You will find a step-by-step guide to registering with EPIS.
Time-Out (self-exclusion)
This tool is ideal if you want to take an immediate break (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, or permanently) when you’re caught off guard. We won’t notify you when your self-exclusion period ends, but your account will be automatically reactivated. A permanent self-exclusion, however, is irreversible.
How does it work?
You will choose the duration of your “Time-Out” and accept the terms and conditions. Once the break is confirmed, you will be automatically logged out of your account, which will remain locked until your break ends.
BetBlocker
BetBlocker is a free app that blocks access to gambling sites and apps on all your devices, helping you take a break from gambling.
It is free for everyone and requires no registration.
